Who we are

SkipperPedro is a registered trademark of Pedro Manuel Garcia Santos Pereira, licensed to Número Épico, Lda. (VAT PT515377481).

SkipperPedro is a sea tour operator and boat charterer that organises nautical events. When chartering, we look for the boat that best suits the number of passengers, the nature of the trip and the day and time it takes place. We make sure every chartered boat meets all safety and hygiene requirements and is crewed by two chartered skippers. A tour manager accompanies every SkipperPedro group and may also act as skipper.

On board

• Please follow the instructions of the skippers and the tour manager at all times; they are there for your safety.
• Arrive at the departure point 15 minutes before the trip.
• The maximum capacity of each boat cannot be exceeded, and there must always be room for two crew members.
• All prices are quoted without VAT and include fuel, crew and insurance.
• You may bring your own food and drink and use the fridges, crockery and running water on board, for a service fee per person, which we confirm in your quote. Alternatively, catering can be arranged through SkipperPedro.
• For operational or safety reasons, the booked boat may be replaced at any time by another of similar characteristics.
• Neither the boat owner nor the charterer is obliged to compensate customers for delays.

Payment

• A deposit of 50% of the total secures your date.
• The remaining 50% is due up to 48 hours before the trip.
• For a named invoice, please send us the recipient’s name and VAT number in advance.
• We accept MB WAY, Multibanco, Visa and Mastercard, cash and bank transfer. Bank details are sent with your booking confirmation.

Cancellation and postponement

• Up to 15 days before the event: cancel with a full refund of everything paid.
• Up to 5 working days before: cancel with a 50% refund of the amounts paid.
• Less than 5 working days before: no refund.

If there are stormy conditions with winds above 35 km/h (force 5 on the Beaufort scale), or serious disturbances to public order or public health that could put passengers at risk, the skipper may decide not to sail or to end the trip at any time, and will propose a new date. We may also postpone if it is raining at boarding time.

Postponements are to dates agreed by both parties. If no date can be agreed, SkipperPedro will refund 90% of the amount received and issue a transferable voucher, valid for one year, for the remaining 10%.

Refer a friend

For every new referral that leads to a booked boat trip, we give you a €20 voucher. Vouchers are valid for one year, transferable, and can be used once towards part of the price of a boat trip. Vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Privacy

When you send a booking request or a message, we keep your name, contact details and the details of your request so we can reply and organise your trip. We use them for nothing else, never sell or share them, and delete them on request.

To understand how the site is used, we measure visits with Visitor Tracking (visitortracking.com), which may set cookies and records pages viewed and general information about the visiting device and network. We do not use advertising cookies.
